About the Author

Explore the timeless wisdom of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms through modern commentary on strategy, leadership, and human nature.

The Romance of the Three Kingdoms has always been more than a novel to me. Its timeless tales of ambition, loyalty, betrayal, and strategy have long inspired me, both as a reader and a thinker. Within its pages, I find not a historical record, but a mirror of human nature, a world of ideals and flaws that still resonate in our lives today.

This blog is where I share those reflections. Rather than retelling the novel, I explore its meaning: each post examines a character, a battle, or a stratagem and asks what it reveals about people, choices, and the nature of power. From quiet acts of loyalty to the grand designs of empire, the stories of the Three Kingdoms remain alive in spirit and lesson.

I write with three guiding strands — the Chronicles of heroes and villains, the Stratagems of campaigns and cunning moves, and the Reflections that connect Luo Guanzhong’s fictional world with the challenges we face in our own.

This is my personal passion project, created for readers who, like me, find wisdom and wonder in the storytelling of the past. While my focus is on the fictional version of the Three Kingdoms, historical notes may occasionally appear to provide background or context, always secondary to the novel’s world and its enduring messages.

If you enjoy my writing and would like to support the journey, I warmly welcome both donations and sponsorships. Your support helps me continue creating thoughtful content for anyone who finds inspiration in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
